ICE FISHING
Our fishing trips are a fully immersive experience. We have you meet your team by name as we teach about dog care, equipment and harnessing. You will run the dog team to your fishing destination and learn about dog care as well and receive a full explanation of the fishing gear and techniques.
Your trip includes five to six hours of fishing on proven trophy waters in the BWCA, lunch cooked by campfire on the ice and cleaning of fish that are kept. Finally, the run home is typically after sunset so use of headlamps will add to the full-day experience. This sensory rich excursion typically last around 10 hours.
ICE FISHING - December and March only
Make sure your adventure is enjoyable by staying warm. Check out the rental clothing offer from
Wintergreen Northern Wear. You will work directly with them to secure clothing.

Lunch provided
Shore Lunch is available for an additional fee. (Fresh Fish, Cooked on the Ice) Cost - $75 for 2 people, $25 extra per person thereafter.
BWCA ~ Standard full day rate is $600/day per Adult, plus a $400 “add-on” for ice fishing per group. (Click the ice fishing add-on box in “additional information” on the booking page)
We have a two person minimum and up to four persons total. (Not including guides & weight dependent)
